Our range of MPK and Fiamma roof/skylights for caravans & motorhomes.
NB: the dimensions given are the the aperture size (i.e. the actual hole in the caravan/motorhome roof).
Replacing an existing caravan/motohome rooflight/skylight is relatively simple DIY task. Most rooflights/skylights will unscrew from inside the caravan or motorhome and once the screws are out the inside part will separate from the outside part. A scraper may be needed to prise off the outside part and break the bond between the sealant/adhesive and the caravan/motorhome roof. All remnants of the old sealant/adhesive should be removed by carefully using the scraper and/or white spirit. A flexible non-setting sealant such as mastic or Carafax should be used to fit the new rooflight/skylight to the caravan/motorhome roof and once the installation is complete the area around the roof part of the rooflight/skylight should be neatly finished off and waterproofed using a top quality sealant such as Sikaflexto prevent any danger of damp or water ingress.
Remember when determining the size of the caravan/motorhome rooflight/skylight required it is the roof aperture (i.e. the hole in the roof) and NOT the frame of the rooflight/skylight that should be measured.
