SMART BATTERY CHARGERS 12volt

All our range of Ring 'Smart' battery chargers/maintainers are fully automatic, i.e they do not require supervised battery charging, and are suitable for permanent connection. They will also charge most types of lead-acid batteries.

All our 'Smart', fully automatic car battery chargers, motorcycle and leisure battery chargers have self re-setting protection against incorrect battery connection. Please look at individual battery charger specs for more features.

All units displayed can also be used to maintain batteries at peak performance on any type of vehicle that is left idle for long periods i.e. motorcycles, motorhomes, classic vehicles, jet skis etc. For more info about Ring Smart battery chargersclick here. Please note that the battery charger output (i.e. the maximum amps the charger can deliver) should be at least 10% of the battery/batteries you are intending to charge ampere hour rating to achieve full charge within a reasonable amount of time. Smaller output battery chargers can be used (within reason), but this will increase the charging time.

So, if you wish to charge a 100 ampere hour battery from dead flat we would recommend a battery charger of 10 amp output (10% of battery rating) or above.
