Why do I need a voltage converter/dropper?

For converting 24 volt battery systems to 12 volts and run 12 volt appliances.

NB: simply tapping off one battery in a 24 volt system for a 12 volt supply will eventually cause that battery to discharge and cause a vehicle starting problem. Always use a voltage converter!
