Alternator to Battery Chargers/Splitters - Info & Fitting

Durite electronic charge splitters that allow up to 3 banks of independent battery systems to be fully charged by a single alternator witout voltage drop and without needing special voltage regulators or blocking diodes.

Simple to install and all units have resin encapsulated electronics. Check the output in amps of your alternator and select the equivalent ,or better, amperage splitter.

Will fully charge up to 3 independent battery banks from a single alternator. BUY AN ALTERNATOR TO BATTERY CHARGER

Suitable for 6 volt, 12 volt, 24 volt and up to 32 volt systems. Features: available in 60 amp, 90 amp & 120 amp models - dimensions: 267mm L x 147 W x 55 H.

Advantages: will fully charge up to 3 banks of batteries from a single alternator - resin ecapsulated electronics. The Durite charge splitter's internal electronics sense the charge requirement for each seperate battery bank and will charge each battery bank individually according to its needs.

Fitting: input will require wiring from the alternator (relatively simple with supplied instructions).

1 connection to the charging source (i.e. the alternator) and the other connection to the battery charge/warning lamp.

Connect the output to the posiive terminal of each battery bank and connect the negative terminals of each battery bank to earth.

Features: 12 volt - isolates fridge circuit separately - 2 x 2.8mm, 1 x 6.3mm & 2 x 9.5mm terminals - replaces Lucas part no. SRB 630.

Advantages: will split charge between the starter and leisure battery - will keep your caravan/motorhome fridge running while on the move (3 way fridges only).

Fitting: requires  connection to a live source that is only triggered when the ignition is switched on, i.e. the alternator warning light wire, to terminal 1 on relay - connection to earth to terminal 3 - connection to the positive teminal of the starter battery to terminal 2 (fit in-line fuse, say 30 amp) - connection to leisure/auxiliary battery to terminal 4 (fused, say 20 amp) - terminal 8 on the relay is used to run the fridge separately if required.
